Venison and Wild Rice Stuffed Acorn Squash

Ingredients
- 1/2 C rice
- 1 ea acorn squash
- 1/3 C cranberries
- 1/2 lb venison, ground
- 1/2 C brown sugar
- 1 t cinnamon
- 1/2 t nutmeg
- Option: substitute apples for cranberries
- Option: maple syrup
Instructions
- Roast the squash and cook the rice.
- Brown the venison, then mix in the spices, fruit, and rice.
- Stuff the squash with the meat mixture, then bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
- Plate, drizzle with maple syrup, and serve.
